100 Things
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
My heart has been overflowing with gratitude lately, due mostly to the fact that I've moved out and am experiencing the world in my own way. My eyes have been opened to a whole new world and new ideas and I wanted to share a list of things that I am thankful/grateful for. So that's what this post is about. I hope you take the time to read it and that it helps you realize what things you are thankful for!
I am thankful for:
- My eternal family
- The opportunity to go to Snow College
- Good health
- My car
- The fall colors
- Provo Canyon—and the fact that my house is so close to it
- The priesthood
- Food
- All of my clothes
- Living 5 minutes away from the Manti Temple
- Random acts of kindness
- MUSIC
- My ability to sing
- Sunsets
- My camera
- Missionaries and letters from missionaries
- My nieces and nephews
- My brother’s return from his mission
- Weddings/Marriage
- Living two minute walking distance from campus
- Amy Dymock (my “Twin”)
- My brothers
- Free Wi-fi
- People who are talented and share their talents with the world
- A working dishwasher—(life is crazy living with 10 girls)
- Photographs
- Old friends
- New, unexpected friendships
- A roof over my head—even if it does leak sometimes
- The founding fathers
- My senses: smell, sight, hearing, taste, feeling
- The atonement
- The gospel
- Adoption
- Good books
- The stairs in the Karen Huntsman library—they’re keeping me in shape
- The stars
- Bonfires
- The years I spent dancing—wish I still did it
- The best primary teachers EVER—Brother and Sister Reese
- Modern medicines
- Facetime--to keep in contact with friends and family, even though we're miles apart
- The mission age change
- Orem High School Choir—especially around Christmas time
- Freedom
- Agency
- My crazy, weird, awesome roommates
- My patriarchal blessing
- Being sealed to my family in the temple for eternity
- Opportunities to serve others
- Sunday dinners at my grandparents house
- Sunday game nights at Snow Lodge
- Blankets

- My really crappy summer job—without it, I would be truly broke
- A change in scenery—aka Ephraim, UT
- My dad’s job

- My water bottle--keeping the headaches and illness away!
- The opportunity to be in Cadence at Snow college

- Those 6 long years of braces—it sucked, but I love my pearly whites

- Brother Heaston—my favorite seminary teacher
- Snapchat—it has been the cause of many laughs

- My moms cooking, sewing, cleaning, decorating… pretty much her everything

- Coming home to free EVERYTHING—food, laundry, gas, etc
- All the mistakes I’ve made, and the lessons I learned from them

- Horrible, excruciating, bad dates

- Flamingos—they are just so fascinating

- Not getting a ticket for having too many people in a car

- Big hugs

- Musical Theater—watching it, and participating in it

- Every laugh, conversation, crying fit, bitter words, embarrassing moment shared withh Emily Erdmann

- That I grew up in a family that was strong in the Gospel
